Someone told me once that Hemingway would write 1500 words a day. This same person told me that if Mr. Hemingway hadn't met his word count by the time he got to the bar, he'd stand there and keep writing until he met his goal, refusing to take even a sip until he was done. I don't think that's true, but it fueled a lot of writing when I was younger. My hope is to get back into that habit and write something every day, regardless of the word count.

My name is Jennifer.
Jennifea to my grandmother.
Yeni to my family and friends.
Jeni to everyone else.

I live in Michigan, but was born and raised in South Florida. I'm bilingual, and (as the most astute person I know pointed out recently) when I write, my Spanish tends to show a bit.
